The campus Rensing Center is located on the campus of the University of South Carolina at Clemson in the heart of downtown Clemson. Rensing Center for the Arts, Renning Center houses the largest fine arts collection in North Carolina.

The fun takes place on the former site of LASALLE College of Arts, and in 2015 Clemson University broke ground on the new Goodman Arts Centre, the first of its kind in South Carolina. The college was founded in 1962 and was originally named after William L. Goodman, a former governor of North Carolina who was the son of William Goodman and his wife Mary in 1825. He became president of Clemson in 1897 and the Goodman Arts Centre is now housed in his former residence, Goodman Hall.
Since the first degree was awarded in 1896, Clemson engineers and scientists have made significant contributions to South Carolina, the nation, and the world. It wasn't until 1973 that Clemson Jeanet Dreskin earned her first master's degree in art history. Dreskins was important to Clemson's fine arts, as she was one of the first Clemson alumni in the arts to earn a master's degree from the College of Arts and Humanities.
The importance of art at Clemson goes so far that a high seminar of learning, like Thomas Green's Clemson, clearly requires that art remain at the center of the Fort Hill campus in the truest sense of the word. The term has become synonymous with the Clemson College of Arts and Humanities and the University of South Carolina. John Antonio has developed a Bengal tiger that was sent to the agency by the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. Clemson students were selected and commissioned to create the installation, which was inspired by Anthony's ability to master abstract forms.
North Carolina, which nearly beat the Tigers in Chapel Hill last year, introduced a "sweet" (short for sweet) before the game. No other ACC team that has beaten Clemson or narrowly beat it in the last five years has converted the sugar that was scarce before a game, only North Carolina.
The law was signed, establishing Clemson Agricultural College of South Carolina as a separate college from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the State of Carolina.
